Progress of the patio

So, the concrete is down and we have brought out the tree ferns from the poly tunnel where they were over wintering. The 4m tree ferns that were planted at the end of the summer last year have survived and are throwing up new fronds already. They were caged in bubble wrap and had heating elements but with the mild winter we have had would probably have survived anyway.

Mark is now constructing the walkway from the pond to the the path by the poly tunnel and I have been excavating the granite cliff. It feels like the largest rockery in the world.
