Lake Francesca

We started building the pond in April. Chris (CT Landscapes) got it started on Day 1 and then I took over for the following six days and began to dream of digging every night! It took the same amount of time to fill it from our spring but on day one we had newts taking residence. Mark has been busy with continuing the walkway and building a decked seating area at the back of the pond giving some wonderful views back to the house. The old wildlife pond has had three feet of mud removed and will be relined so that in January when the frogs, newts and toads come back to mate and lay their eggs they will be able to get in.
